Welcome to fall!!! Sniff!! I am definitely in mourning! It has been beautiful...blue skies and sunshine...temps around 75 degrees! I know what is going on....trying to persuade me that it is just as sexy as summer!! Well, it won't work...because I know it's traveling companion!! WINTER!!! Bah Hum Bug!!!
I have been planting trees!! Well, not really me...but my helper Joey! I received 75 Bristlecone Pines from the NM Forest Service!!!! I am putting them right along my fence line in front and up one side!! It is going to be so cool! And less windy eventually!! When we get done, I will show pics!! Here is a pic of the evergreen tree!!

Cheri, my BFF, has been gone and she asked me to feed her horses!! I have never done this before in my life!! Pie and Cookie are mother and daughter. Pie is over 20 years old and Cookie is around 15 or so. Pie is full of attitude...Cookie is sweet and quiet. Ha!! Pie lets me know when she thinks I have been late is coming to hand out their food!!! She tells me off and kicks the fence!! Ha!! Cracks me up! They are Paints and gorgeous!! This has been fun for sure!!

I have been forgetting to bring my camera with me...I will try to remember today!! Anyway..they don't like the flash! They also love ginger snap cookies!!!! They will nod their head yes when you ask them if they want a cookie! So cute! Pie and Cookies are really smart too! This has been so much fun...I have to admit I was nervous about doing this. The biggest thing I ever took care of was our Great Dane, Eloise!! I still miss her!
As you can see, I have been bad about taking photos this past week. Just been crazy around here!! My house is a wreck and so is my studio! Today I plan on bring in a fork lift and clearing it all out!! Ha! Well, close anyway!!!!!!!!!

Been shopping! On Zappos.com !! I love that place! You can shop to your hearts content! All manner of shoes, clothes and accessories!! They ship like almost over night at no charge and it you don't like it or it doesn't fit...you can send back at no charge whatsoever!! Coolness!! I ordered a pair of black and white flats with a bow, a pair of shoes with 3 inch heels (brown) to wear with slacks and maxi skirts, and a pair of color rubber-like boots for this winter!!
What ya think? I loved them all...sorry Dr. John!!! Ha! I do love me some fabulous shoes!!
