As you can see from the pic above....the barn roof has been peeled back!! Yikes!! The winds were so high...approx. 65 MPH! Gusting upwards from there!! Not only did several houses and barns suffer damage, my friend Cheri lost her carport!!
What a mess around town!! And power went out for 100's of homes. Not me though, thank God!! Anywho...,it has been rough!! Today temps are cold, cold, cold. Below freezing!! Just two days ago it was 71!!! Weird!! We actually lost 1/3 of our firewood!!!!! Amazing!!
Pampered myself last Thursday! My nail tech is back from her maternity leave and boy have I missed her. And so did my nails and feet!!! She prettified me and now I am all set to look stunning for my vacation.
Notice I said "my vacation"? Dr. John has a conference in Oakland, CA. He has to work while I get to play!! Love it!! Taking my laptop, my walking shoes, my camera and my cell phone. What else does a girl need?? Seriously!!!

Worked on my taxes over the weekend!! Woot!! Not!!! But it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be.
I actually made money last year!! As an artist...that is a miraculous occurrence. Ha!! I completed this task and handed them over to Dr. John. Now it is up to him and Turbo Tax to combine them all together. Of course, I always hope for cash back!! We shall see!!

I know...feel sorry for us. Anyway, I have a question. Why is it that the players have to, on a regular basis, grab their crotch?? Are they checking to make sure it is still there? Jock itch? I mean, seriously. It is annoying.
I have pretty much recovered from surgery and the flu bug..but have yet to get back to walking. Reason...ummmmmmm...winds, darkness, crazy loose dog..,.,.and just general laziness. Ha!! Just saying!!
